WHAT TO EXPECT
AAA has hosted Hiking Weekend events for over a decade. We have a wealth of experience that will ensure that you will enjoy some great hikes and some great food.

HIKE GRADES
You will have a choice of hikes, ranging from Moderate to Energetic, which are all led by very capable AAA hike leaders. They have extensive navigational and hike-leading experience and are trained in wilderness first aid.
You can expect the shorter hikes to be around 15km and the longer hikes to be 23 km. We will take the weather into account and offer routes on the day.
IMPORTANT This trip is designed for a range of hiking abilities from Novice to experienced. Select your hikes accordingly.
ITINERARY
The event starts at the hostel at 18:00 and finishes after the half-day hike on Thursday around 1 pm.
There will be a New Year's Eve Party with music and a midnight buffet with drinks.

ACCOMMODATION
We will be based in the Conwy YHA, having booked the whole local hostel exclusively for our group.
All rooms are en-suite and mostly for 4 people.

FOOD
Meals are provided and include vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available upon request with advance notice at the time of booking.
TRANSPORT
Driving is the best option to reach the Hostel. Please check out this Event Message Board to request or offer a lift.

Choices of 3-4 Guided Hikes by Experienced Hike Leaders
