About us

Who are we?
Our Origins
AAA Hiking and Adventures was founded in 2008 by Misha, whose passion for the outdoors has been the driving force behind the company’s growth. Before starting AAA, Misha was an active hike leader and event organiser, hosting travel events since 2005. Originally from Sevastopol, Crimea, Misha led hiking and sightseeing tours in his homeland and later brought groups from the UK with AAA to explore the stunning landscapes of the peninsula.
Misha's love for adventure is backed by his professional skills as a trained Mountain Leader at Plas Y Brenin (The National Mountain Centre) and his experience in the Army, where he developed expertise in navigation and survival in challenging conditions. Misha always shares his knowledge with guests, ensuring they feel confident and safe in the great outdoors.
Those of you who have been to our trips before will know how passionate he is about healthy, homemade food, which has become one of our core values and a highlight of our events.

What do we do?
AAA has successfully organized over 1700 events, hosting more than 7000 participants since our inception.
We typically run around 50-70 events yearly, including midweek evening social activities like treasure hunts, kayaking sessions, and weekend and week-long hiking trips in the UK and abroad.
By 2024, we proudly hosted events in over 30 locations across the UK, from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands and Pembrokeshire to Norfolk.
Additionally, we have organized trips in more than 20 European locations across 10 countries and continually strive to provide new and exciting experiences.
Our most popular offerings are weekend hiking trips to various locations throughout the UK.
How do we organise trips? We go on investigation trips to find the best and most unique and carefully put together bespoke itineraries for our groups. Some of the trips that have been incredibly popular over the years are repeated year after year and refined to perfection.
